Pronouns 101

Prounouns are all the buzz, but they’re nothing new! Join us as we look back on the historical roots of neo-pronouns, and as we journey to the present in how we’ve come to understand gender identity and its many nuances. While this course is 101, the skills and techniques found in this training are invaluable to everyone, as we are all learning and growing together and in our understanding of one another!


This training will offer an introduction and exploration of …

  • The difference between sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.
  • How gender is perceived and tools we can use to de-gender our language and associations.
  • How to create affirming spaces, asking for and using correct pronouns and gendered language.
  •  What misgendering and deadnaming is and its impacts.
  • Navigating confidentiality around gender in safe and affirming ways.
  • Accountability, Repair, and Prevention Work.
  • And more!

3+ Hour Training Includes 

1.5 Hours of recorded virtual content

Guided mindfulness activities

Reflection questions and resources to utilize for internal growth and external community care.
